Take a right off the elevator on the third floor, and the room is just through the double doors that will be right in front of you. We will have signage clearly marking the space.

List of Positions and time commitment

First Aid Volunteer 7 am – 11 am
This person is responsible for assisting those needing minor medical assistance, including scrapes, bumps and bruises. This person would also be responsible for providing water and tent shade for any person who may be overheated.

Goodie Bag Volunteer 8:30 – 11:00 am
This person is responsible for handing out goody bags as participants cross the finish line.

Information Table Volunteer 7 am – 11 am
This person is responsible for overseeing the information table at the event and giving out information pertaining to the Rump run, event sponsors, as well as other information as necessary.

Kids Zone Volunteer 7 am – 11 am Available in 1 – 2 hour shifts
This person is responsible for overseeing the children playing in the kid’s zone. This person will stand outside each inflatable and ensure that children are playing on the equipment in a safe and acceptable manner.

Parking Volunteer 6:30 am – 11:30 am
This person is responsible for ensuring that parking is handled in an organized manner. The people on this committee will direct arrivals to appropriate parking spaces, and ferry them to the race site in a golf cart when necessary. Parking volunteers will take a pre race day visit to the race site on Thursday evening, March 13th.

Post Race Refreshment Volunteer 8:30 am to 11 am
This person is responsible for handing out refreshments and drinks to participants completing the 5K race.

Race Course/Water Stop Volunteer 8 am to 11:00 am
This person is responsible for helping to set up the course for the event. This includes posting mile marker signs, setting up tables with water coolers and cups, setting out cones when needed and posting directional arrow signs. This person is also responsible for directing race traffic flow, and helping race participants keep track of their time at each mile marker. Will also hand out water on the course to participants.

Registration Area Volunteer 7 am to 10 am
This person is responsible for handing out t-Shirts to participants and assisting Scenic City Multisport with registration process as needed.

Survivor Tent Volunteer 7:30 am to 11 am
This person is responsible for welcoming all survivors of colorectal cancer, as well as those currently fighting colorectal cancer into the survivor tent. This person will make sure that a survivor registration card is filled out, and each person is given a survivor pin and bracelet. This person will assist with any needs or requests of the survivors/patients.

Kiosk Volunteer 8:30 am - 11 am
This person is responsible for helping race participants use the kiosk to obtain individual race performance information.

Clean up volunteer 8:30 – 11:30 am
This person is responsible for keeping their designated area of the event clean. This person is also responsible for ensuring clean up of all trash/supplies after the event has ended.
